Web Varta is a new program which is broadvasted by the Community Radio of Sirsa / Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, CDLU Sirsa. Till date Community Radio Sirsa / FM Radio has arranged and broadcasted the  Web Varta progam with Dean of Maas Communication Department GJU Hisar, Professor Manoj Dayal, Dr Lohchab Head of Cardio Thoracic Surgery from Health University Rohtak, Dr. ramesh Gupta from Guptacom Technology USA, Dr. Baldev Kumar from NIA Jaipur, Dr. Hetal from Gujarat.

100 Days Celebration of Sirsa FM Radio

Few day back Students and staff members of JMC Department CDLU celebrated the 100 days of inception of Community Radio Station in the CDLU Sirsa.  Mr. RK Sehgal Registrar of CDLU was the chief guest and along with the students and staff of JMC Department the active listeners of FM Radio Sirsa were also present during the celebration and Radio Rally organized by JMC Department.  Rally was started from Media Centre CDLU and bikers reached to College of Education in JCD Sirsa from JCD students went to Disha for social gathering with special children of Disha where VS Chauhan, Surender Bhatia, Geeta Kathurai, SS Bajwa addressed the social gathering at Disha. From Disha students went to National College Sirsa, Bal Bhawan, Lal Bati Chowk, Sangwan Chowk, Sukhdev Singh Chowk, Rori Bazar and other main markets of Sirsa city. Finally Radio Reporters dispersed in different parts of Sirsa and took views of the local through live program.

Sukh Kanwar Alias Sukhi is the famous face of Sirsa. He has successfully acomplished many modeling consignments in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi and Maharashtra. Though Sukh Kanwar is a student of Mass Communication in CDLU Sirsa.  After completing many modelling consignment in bigger cities like Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai Sukhi is Back to Sirsa and now concentrating on his career and education in journalism. Sukhi told us that he has got new modelling consignment from a company from Canada. Sukh Kanwar will be moving to Canada after completion of his study from CDLU Sirsa.

Independence Day Celebration in Sirsa.

Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Parmavir was the chief guest at Independence Day Celebration for 15th August 2009.  Pics from the events are being updated in this post.

Dr. Salil Agarwal is the first Swine Flu Case of Sirsa. Dr. Salil was working as a resident doctor in the civil hospital sirsa and family person are also screened for Swine Flu as potential suspect. District Administration of Sirsa, Haryana has become alert for the prevention of spreading the Spine Flu in Sirsa.

Department of Mass Communication and Journalism will launch fe new programs on Community Radio Station of CDLU Sirsa.  Few of the programs which will be started on CRS Sirsa will be of interactive nature and caller will be able to call and ask for the songs of their choice. In Other programs there will be non stop music Mazzaa, Sirsa News, Community updates from Sirsa district etc. Mr. Virender Singh Chauhan, Station Director of Community Radio Station Sirsa is leading the team of enthusciastic  budding journalist who will be in touch with the audience of Sirsa district during various programs at Community Radio Station Sirsa.
